Is it okay to give a matching gift, one at the bridal shower and the other at the wedding?
I bought a nice engraved frame for a friend's wedding. While I was picking up the frame, I noticed that I could purchase a matching photo album. I purchased the album thinking I could give it as a gift at the bridal shower. Although the frame and the album did not come together as a matching set and I purchased them separately, I am now wondering if it is tacky to give them a two different occasions or if they should be given together at the wedding. Thus, purchase another gift for the bridal shower.
It's okay to give them at two different occasions. I would think it is cool if when I opened the second one I was like, "Oh, this matches the other one!"
